The Kingdom of Dian, from which this tea takes its name, once covered part of present-day Yunnan province. Made solely from beautiful downy buds, its terroir and altitude make it a tea of great quality — indeed it won the gold medal at the 2022 AVPA competition (the French agency for the promotion of agricultural produce). This tea drinks like a nectar, its notes unfolding in perfect harmony. Honeyed, malty flavours blend with woody, floral, rosy and fruity notes. The texture is oily and unctuous, giving an intense and elegant tea.
