Bai Mu Dan means “white peony” in Chinese. This tea has been highly prized in China since the early 15th century, and particular care is taken in its making. The leaves of this tea must withstand the high temperatures and humid climate of southern China and are picked exclusively by hand in March and April each year. Its floral aromas and subtle fruit notes are followed by fuller flavours, as this tea is a cross between traditional green tea and white tea. Savour it first thing in the morning or whenever you crave a delicious pick-me-up.
