YANKI BAI MU DAN

The work of small farmers is often hard to showcase against the great gardens of Darjeeling. Yankhu Tamang founded the Darjeeling Small Tea Growers Welfare Society to “promote small farmers, socially and economically”. Produced in his small factory at the heart of this collective — like a spring flower or a catchy melody — this tea moved us with its scents of fresh leaves, its orange-blossom notes and its rich nuances of nuts, citrus and fruit.
