Bao Zhong first appeared in Taiwan in the 19th century. Also known as Pouchong, its name means “wrapped in paper”, because it was once wrapped in fine paper sealed with the farmer’s stamp. In this oolong, the notes unfold with great elegance. The attack is at once fresh, with vegetal and iodised nuances, before quickly giving way to an indulgent, deeply floral bouquet.
